Yale Stem Cell Center (YSCC)

In 2006 Yale Medical School recruited Dr. Haifan Lin Ph.D. from Duke University to head its new Center to advance basic stem cell research at Yale. The Associate Director of YSCC is Diane Krause is a DERC member in the Department of Laboratory Medicine. YSCC will be located in the Amistad Building (along with VBT and HTI) that is under construction. The Center will ultimately will provide DERC investigators with assess to well-equipped, expertly staffed core laboratories for basic stem cell biology research that will provide DERC members with facilities for production of insulin-producing cells.
